The Court of Appeal has dismissed an Invercargill company
manager's appeal against a nine-month jail sentence.
Robert Benjamin Butler, 31, was found guilty in Invercargill
District Court in August last year of nine counts under the
Companies Act.
The offending related to his involvement as a director of a
number of companies while prohibited from doing so because of
convictions for crimes of dishonesty.
