LIBBY HAMILTON: Libby Hamilton is a singer/
songwriter from Central Otago who pursued her love of
music and the arts throughout her school days. Libby
then moved to Dunedin, where she completed a Bachelor
of Music Degree with Honours at Otago University. She
thrived in Dunedin's diverse, original music scene and
has been involved in a number of bands including well
known Dunedin Band ‘The Oxo Cubans. Over the summer
season, Libby plays for weddings and other special
occasions. She enjoys performing her own material as a
solo artist, and also plays as a duo with her talented
sister Beth.

|
GREG MACLEOD: Greg MacLeod is a Dunedin actor,
singer, writer, and teacher. His semi-professional
career was launched following his portrayal of Jesus in
Jesus Christ Superstar (2001). Greg attended Toi
Whakaari: The New Zealand Drama School (2004) and since
has been involved with numerous theatre and companies
throughout New Zealand. Critics applauded his
performance of the Beast, in Beauty and the Beast
(2006), Jerry, in The Full Monty (2008), and Engineer,
in Miss Saigon (2010). A move to film saw him head the
short film Eden which was selected for ION
International (2009), New Zealand International (2010),
and Africa International (2010) Film Festivals.

JENN
SHELTON: Jenn Shelton is a
powerhouse vocalist who has worked creatively as a
singer, songwriter, actress and a dancer. She has
toured nationally with various groups. No stranger to
the stadium scene, Jenn has performed with Ozzie
Ozbourne and KISS, plus opened for Nesian Mystic. Jenn
now teaches vocal technique and performance, and has
worked extensively in Theatre (Education). Some of her
achievements include an album for Mental Health
Awareness, composition for a Fringe Festival play and
more recently, Jenn was crowned 'Best Female Vocal' in
the country on TV ONE's Countdown to 2011.

|
SIMON GREEN: Dunedin born, Simon made his
stage debut for Dunedin Operatic Society in 1996 in Les
Miserables. He has since performed in major musical
theatre productions all over NZ including national
tours of Evita and Blood Brothers and Les Miserables,
culminating in 2007 when he performed the lead role of
Jean Val Jean. He has featured at Auckland's "Starlight
Symphony", Rotorua's Lakeside", Christchurch's Coca
Cola Christmas in the Park and Invercargill's Christmas
in the Stadium. Over the years Simon has also sung with
The St Kilda Brass Band, X-Set, Oxo Cubans and the City
of Invercargill Caledonian Pipe Band's "Pipin' Hot".

KAWITI
WAETFORD: Twenty-year old New
Zealand baritone, Kawiti Waetford, has just completed
his first year of study at the University of Otago,
specialising in Performance Voice with Isabel
Cunningham and Professor Terence Dennis. He is studying
towards a degree in music honours, majoring in
classical voice performance. He brings to his
performance considerable stage experience. His current
vocal classical training is enhanced by his background
in Maori oratory, Kapa Haka (Maori Performance Arts),
Shakespeare and Theatre.

|
JODY
DIREEN: Jodys career so far
athough mainly bar performances, has also found her
performing at the Methven/Wanaka Rodeos which attract
around 10,000 people. Her experience on bigger stages
includes Stars in their Eyes, Gold Guitars and the
Oamaru Opera House, Chridtchurch fundraiser. Jody won
the Stars in their Eyes in Gore and has a slot on the
Main stage at the Alexandra Blossom festival in
September. She is a supporting act for the Waratahs at
the Mandeville Sports Centre /Rodeo Arena and although
enjoys playing with bands, has more recently
concentrated on solo performances.

|
SEQUOIA
CUNNINGHAM: Sequoia Cunningham is 15
years old and currently attends Logan Park High School
as a year 11 pupil. Sequoia has always enjoyed singing
and performing and comes from a musical background. For
the past 3 years she has been vocally trained by
internationally acclaimed opera singer Patricia Payne.
In 2010 Sequoia was the junior winner of the NEWZATS
Cleveland Awards for solo singers held in Dunedin.
Composing and performing original popular songs is
something Sequoia also enjoys, along with art and
creative writing. Sequoia would like to pursue a career
in opera singing or the performing arts.

JACK
FRASER:- INVERCARGILL Jack has
travelled from Invercargill to be a part of this great
event. After receiving classical vocal training for a
number of years, he has performed for various local
groups and organisations in Southland including musical
theatre, weddings, funerals and award evenings. Jacks
most recent musical credits include Gore’s “Les
Miserables” and Invercargill’s “Jesus Christ
Superstar”. By day Jack works for Ray White Real Estate
in Invercargill. Jack is thrilled at the chance to
perform with such a talented crew and thanks his family
for their continuous support.

GEORGIE
DANIELL: Georgie began her music
journey at the age of 9 and has since picked up a large
number of awards from numerous competitions. She was
invited into the live music scene when she was 14 years
old and has racked up impressive musical C.V over the
years. Now 18, Georgie continues to be in demand with
musical ventures in Dunedin such as ‘The Oxo Cubans’,
‘Y Not’, ‘Done ‘n’ Dusted’ and ‘Flanders & GG.’ Her
unique style allows her to cover genres of a wide
variety and relate to a crowd of different
ages.

DAVE HORIZON: Dave Horizon is a Teaching Fellow
in the Music Department at Otago University where he
teaches electric guitar and ensemble performance within
the Contemporary ‘Rock' Degree. Originally from
Hastings, Dave has performed extensively throughout New
Zealand. Locally he is known as the current
vocalist/guitarist for The Oxo Cubans, The X Set and
guitarist for jazz/fusion group Subject 2 Change. Dave
has also been involved in various theatre productions
as part of the orchestra including Grease, Cats, Buddy,
The Full Monty and Dusty. Dave's current goal is to
further develop his career as a vocalist and producer.

KYLIE PRICE: Kylie
Price is a Dunedin singer/songwriter who has been
singing since she was 11 and playing guitar since she
was 7. Kylie was the 2010 NZ Gold Guitar Intermediate
Overall Winner, winning a return ticket to Tamworth to
represent NZ. In the Country Comps, she has been
Intermediate Overall Winner of numerous singing awards.
Her love of Musical Theatre saw her performing in
'Grease' at Kavanagh College where she played Rizzo.
Kylie also took the role of Reno in the NZ Premiere of
'Dusty Springfield' in 2010. This year she has been
awarded Class Act at Kavanagh College for her Cultural
Contribution, she has also performed with the OXO
Cubans in their latest concert 'Big Night Out'.

KELVIN CUMMINGS: is delighted to be
involved with The Big Night In. This entertainer has
television appearances including Jerry Lee Lewis on
TVNZ's Stars In Their Eyes, performances on TV3's Big
Night In Telethon, as well as other international film
projects. His debut album I Want You To Be Happy
charted in European markets, and he now fronts the
Dunedin covers band Charma. By day, he is the Music
Teacher at East Otago High School, Palmerston. Kelvin
would like to thank his beloved wife, family and
friends for all of their support.
