New Zealand's Davis Cup Team for the tie against Sri Lanka
was announced today. The first round takes place at the clay
courts of the Sri Lanka Tennis association in Colombo on
March 5.
Captain Marcel Vos has named Dan King-Turner, Rubin Statham,
Oliver Statham and Marcus Daniell in the team.
Opponents in the second round could be Pakistan or Hong Kong.
The other countries playing in Group II Asia/Pacific Zone in
2010 are Thailand, Pacific Oceania, Indonesia and Malaysia.
The four New Zealand players are competing at the Pro Tour
tournaments at Mildura and Berri in Australia in the next two
weeks.
