Police say they are considering whether to charge Naomi Campbell after her driver says she slapped and punched him while he was driving her around New York City.
The driver told police that the 39-year-old British model became enraged with the driver and started to hit him from the back seat on Tuesday afternoon.

Police spokesman Paul Browne says the driver stopped the car in midtown Manhattan and called police. He says Campbell jumped out of the car and ran away. The driver is speaking to police at a precinct.

A spokesman for Naomi Campbell says the British model will co-operate with police. Spokesman Jeff Raymond says there shouldn't be a rush to judgment in Campbell's case.
