Tennis: NZ chief executive Walker steps down

Tennis New Zealand chief executive Steve Walker has stepped down after three years in the position.

Walker, an Australian, said it had been a privilege and a pleasure to lead tennis in New Zealand.

"Steve has made a huge effort for tennis in New Zealand and achieved great results. Our full board thanks him for his contribution," Tennis NZ chairman David Patterson said.

Tennis NZ will advertise the position and expects a replacement to be found within the next two to three months.
