Dunedin company Delta Utility Services is among finalists in
the New Zealand Contractors Federation/Hirepool Construction
Awards 2011, for its work on the Forsyth Barr Stadium pitch.
The awards recognise excellence in civil construction
projects carried out by New Zealand companies at home or
overseas.
The $1.61 million scheme, carried out for the Dunedin City
Council, is a finalist in the category for projects with a
value between $1 million and $10 million.
Winners will be announced on August 5 at the New Zealand
Contractors Federation and Association of Consulting
Engineers New Zealand's annual conference in Rotorua.
