Concerns over personal safety and property resulted in 45
people being trespassed from the University of Otago campus
since 2009.
So far this year, four people have been trespassed from
campus, compared with 24 last year and 17 in 2009.
A university spokeswoman confirmed all those trespassed were
people who were non-students.
All trespass notices were due to "issues of personal and
property safety on campus".
The proctor and vice-chancellor were able to issue trespass
notices to non-students for a period of up to two years, she
said.
