The magical world of Walt Disney wants to wave a wand over
student recruits from the University of Otago.
Disney World recruiters will visit the Arts Building this
afternoon to promote their Florida-based work programmes,
University of Otago careers graduate adviser Robyn Bridges
said.
"The world of Disney certainly has a lot of pulling power."
Disney recruiters had visited the university for the first
time last year, and had attracted a couple of students with
their work placement schemes, Ms Bridges said.
"It's a small world after all."
The Disney International Programmes website describes how
successful applicants "from around the world" are
accommodated in fully furnished, gated apartment complexes,
while also qualifying for discounts on theme park admission,
resorts and merchandise.
