Some of the old Walt Disney magic seemed to have rubbed off
this week on many of the 80 University of Otago students who
learned more about work opportunities at Disney World.
Disney World recruiters made a video-backed presentation at
the university Arts building to promote their Florida-based
student work programmes, after visiting the Otago campus for
the first time last year.
About 30 students opted to undergo interviews to further
pursue the chance to work for six months in Orlando, Florida.
Otago student Stephen Herd (21) said the presentation had
been "very Disney-like" and working at Disney World would be
a "great opportunity".
