Exam-hungry students are able to appease any
study-induced appetites with free breakfasts this week at the
Otago University Students Association's student support centre
in Ethel Benjamin Pl.
The OUSA free breakfasts have become something of a custom
during university exam time, with the initiative being well
supported during the mid-year examinations, a student support
centre spokesman said.
Students Uzair Hazim and Casey Lochead were filling up their
cereal bowls yesterday on the first day of the end-of-year
exam breakfasts, before heading to the central library to
study.
OUSA, in conjunction with the Dunedin City Council, is also
helping to organise the first of several "skip days" to
assist students with the annual clean-up and relocation from
many of their flats.
Skips will be placed at sites in the student area this Friday
and Saturday.
