Invercargill, made the most of his O-Week super pass by
going along to almost all of the week's big events. Photo

Studholme College first-year resident Hadley Van
Schaik (18) talks to reporter Vaughan Elder about what he
enjoyed most about O-Week.
Q: What O-Week events did you go to?
A: I got a super pass so I went to almost everything. I
was at the toga party, the comedy show and Macklemore. I
thought I may as well go to everything seeing as I bought the
ticket and all the events looked pretty exciting. I will also
be going to the Highlanders v Chiefs game [last night].
Q: What was the highlight of the week?
A: The Macklemore gig on Thursday night was awesome - it
was probably my highlight so far. I am a fan of Macklemore so
it was really good to see him. He was awesome live and it was
great atmosphere at Forsyth Barr Stadium.
Q: Has the week served as a good introduction to life in
Dunedin?
A: Yeah, definitely. You meet lots of new people and you
walk around Dunedin and see lots of people that you know from
other halls. It's a good way to meet new people.
Q: Are you ready to get into study?
A: It's going to be hard making the adjustment into study
after this week, but it will probably be nice to have a wee
rest and get into a routine again and have a few early
nights.
Q: Do you think the week has been well organised?
A: Yes, I think the week has been well organised. They
have all been really good activities.
