A meeting between the University of Otago and AgResearch over
future co-operation has been hailed as ''positive''.
A joint statement from both organisations said yesterday's
meeting in Dunedin was ''positive and identified areas in
which research and training interactions between the two
organisations could be maintained and strengthened''.
Opportunities for growth of the research capabilities in the
Otago and Southland region, using both the university's
facilities and AgResearch's Invermay campus, were discussed
at the meeting, the statement said.
The meeting was the first of several discussions the two
institutions will hold.
