A seismic shift of national thinking is urgently needed on
violent crime in New Zealand.
Much violence is committed by people drinking heavily and not
thinking properly.

South Island, and now her northern 'sister ship', based at
the historical Ardmore airfield in South Auckland, will also
be flying into Warbirds over Wanaka.
What's happening to our waste? The New Zealand Land Treatment
Collective is holding its annual conference in Dunedin from
17 to 19 March at the Otago Museum in Dunedin. The conference
theme is "Managing wastes in rural and agricultural
landscapes".
Kaikorai Childrens Day took place on Sunday March 7th on the
Nairn Street reserve. The day, organised by the Kaikorai
Presbyterian Church with the active support of Flagstaff
Union and Highgate Presbyterian Churches, bought together
many community organisations with the desire to celebrate
children and to extend to them 'praise and encouragement'
(the national theme of Children's Day 2010).
"Bike to work" month has been a great success this year, with
