This week's Highlight: In storage: From 10am-2pm on Saturday, you can get a free behind-the-scenes look at the Otago Settlers Museum's new custom-built storage facility. Museum staff and members of the Otago Settlers Association will be on hand to welcome you.




Romance beckons:

Pianist and violinist Sandra Crawshaw will be accompanied by cellist David Murray and violinists Charlotte Frances and Alex Vaatstra in the final Southern Sinfonia chamber music concert for the year, featuring works by Dvorak, Mendelssohn and Raff. "Romantic Indulgences" is on at 4.30pm on Sunday in the Southern Sinfonia Rooms, first floor of the Carnegie Centre. Tickets $15.

Sunday, 3pm: French film La Danse et Degas (52 mins PG.) Edgar Degas' beautiful ballet paintings express a fascination with backstage life at the Paris Opera. The film is based on research undertaken for a major American exhibition.
