Chindogu is the Japanese art of impractical inventions.

They must be impractical - if they are practical they are not Chindogu!

Public speaking causes significant anxiety for many people.

This device acts to reduce anxiety by reducing sensory input.

The earplugs supply white noise or user-defined calming sounds; the lenses of the glasses are opaque and the nose-plugs are impregnated with lavender scent to calm the user.

Chindogu inventions are being exhibited at the Otago Settlers Museum during the Fringe Festival.
