Included are a few of his earlier hunting yarns, but mostly the stories of this hunter, now in his 50s, are about recent-day hunts on public land above the bush line.
The book is suitable for the new hunter, or older hunters considering new challenges as Laing gives advice on where to find and how to successfully hunt chamois and tahr.
This book is almost worth the cover price for the best sandfly photograph I have seen.
