Hunters and the Hunted

Returning home after serving with the New Zealand army in Vietnam, Graeme Sturgeon fell comfortably into a new career making money out of ridding pests from the bush: firstly culling deer in the Ruahine Ranges, then some stints possuming, shooting and catching deer from a helicopter and, finally, getting behind the cyclic himself.

He writes a lively book and is particularly good at describing characters who cross his path, be they hut mates or business partners, both good and bad.
