Grand Theft Auto 5: A real rockstar of a game

I'm beginning to run out of ideas as to what to write for remastered games. There's been an absolute deluge of them this year. This one is a little

bit special, though. The Grand Theft Auto series is revered by many as the best made.

Grand Theft Auto 5

For: PS4, XboxOne, PC
From: Rockstar
Five stars (out of five)

Also, this is Rockstar we are talking about here.

While other developers create forgettable DLC, Rockstar creates epic DLC content such as Red Dead Redemptions Undead Nightmare, and the GTA IV episodes.

A lot of people I've talked to were on the fence about upgrading from the previous gen versions of this.

Sit on the fence no more - this is a must buy.

In terms of story it is identical to GTA V for the previous generation consoles.

Online, likewise.

So what is it that elevates this above other remastered games and pushes it into must-buy territory?

Answer: First person mode.

Rockstar has somehow managed to implement a perfectly fitting first-person perspective, a fundamental shift from the traditional GTA third-person formula, meaning every shootout you have is now like something out of Call of Duty.

However, if you're hooked on GTA and have been waiting for it to come out on a next gen console and don't like the sound of a first-person perspective, don't worry, the entire thing is optional: you can play the entire game in third person if you like.

Beyond that, they've also made the game run smoother, and it looks tremendous.

The story is still awesome and the value for money is insane, while everything that you loved about the previous gen remains intact.

Grand Theft Auto is the series that keeps on giving.

With Christmas approaching, give yourself the gift of everlasting entertainment, in the form of GTA V.
