There you go - the world's shortest review of a video game.

It really is that simple for those who dip into Super Stardust Ultra, a pleasantly simple little arcade title that's ideal for filling those gaps between more taxing gaming experiences.

It's a remake of the original PS3 game, which in turn was an enhanced version of an old Amiga title.

Essentially, you are piloting a little spaceship, controlling movement with the left stick and firing with the right.

Around and around a spacey sphere you go, blasting big chunks of asteroidy rock into smaller chunks.

It gets more intense as you progress, but there are boosts to be unlocked, and a handy thruster that can occasionally be used to clear a bigger path.

Some asteroids contain radioactive-looking rocks that, when smashed, spit out an extra life or a bomb to clear most of the screen at once.

There are multiple modes, including one where you use only bombs (no guns to fire) and various ones with a sort of endless wave.

There is also, intriguingly, an interactive streaming mode, where you can stream your game on the Twitch service and any viewers can vote on ways to make the game easier or more challenging.

It's good fun and basically a little slice of heaven for classic gamers - and it looks a whole lot better than this sort of game did in the 1980s.
