Lorde has signed up 80s superstars Grace Jones and Duran Duran frontman Simon Le Bon to sing on a new Hunger Games soundtrack, according to reports from New York.

The Grammy Award-winning 17 year-old has already released a new song from the soundtrack, Yellow Flicker Beat. But the New York Post said the New Zealand teenager was also in charge of choosing all other artists who'll contribute to the album.

The soundtrack is due to be released next month.

Lorde is performing two shows at Los Angeles' Greek Theatre this week. Tickets were still available for both gigs this afternoon.

"The ticket availability is kind of a surprise, given her recent pop domination," the Los Angeles Times said.

"But then again, though Pure Heroine has sold millions, it's been a year since the album came out and Lorde still has yet to release more than a single from her Hunger Games effort."
