MediaWorks has confirmed another contestant on its TV3 reality TV show The Bachelor has a criminal conviction.

In a statement released tonight, the company stated it was reviewing the management of its reality shows, including the contestant selection process.

It also said The Bachelor's Danielle Robinson had a drink driving conviction.

"She declared this conviction to production company Eyeworks, prior to selection for the show and Eyeworks judged the conviction should not prevent her from taking part in the show," the statement said.

The company's statement follows revelations last week another contestant on The Bachelor.

Danielle Le Gallais was sentenced to jail time for a history of fraud offending.

TV3 has also come under heavy criticism for Willy Moon and Natalia Kills' behaviour on X Factor New Zealand.

The husband and wife judging team were dumped from the programme after bullying contestant Joe Irvine on Sunday night.

Alex Nicholson, legal counsel for MediaWorks said: "We appreciate the honesty of Danielle Robinson, who disclosed her prior conviction to Eyeworks when she applied to be part of The Bachelor New Zealand.
