'• 'Liquefy This!'' - see some real earthquake liquefaction from Christchurch, discover how and why it happens, and liquefy some soil for yourself. Daily during the school holidays.
• Volcano of Doom -Dunedin's ancient volcano, Rakiriri, has mysteriously woken from 10 million years of slumber and looks set to erupt. Search the museum's galleries to find objects for your emergency disaster kit, then map your route to escape the fierce fireballs exploding from the Volcano of Doom. Daily during the school holidays.
• Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, 2.30pm: ''Ferocious Fighters - Gallery Antics Adventure Tour''. Take a voyage with Captain James Cook to discover warriors and weapons. Until January 26.
