Review: The Nomad, 7

New Zealand electronic music composer The Nomad's seventh album might have been recorded in a relatively short time frame following the former Christchurch artist's move to the South Island's West Coast last year, yet there is no shortage of attention to this collection of sub-bass musings.

The Nomad. 7.

Four stars

Driven by a lo-fi keyboard melody, Brok Out benefits greatly from the vocal energy of London MC Lotek, yet it's difficult to single out any one song among the 14 diverse tracks, which span dub, drum and bass, trap, grime and various points in between.

Expect (or demand) it to be heard at a club near you.
