Wellington indie rockers the Phoenix Foundation are tipped to
return to Queenstown in May.
The date and ticket price are yet to be finalised, but
Revolver will host the band for the third time.
Revolver owner John Stapleton described the six-piece's sound
as "pop-acid rock blurring almost into German trance, but
definitely danceable".
The first single and title track from the band's fourth
album, Buffalo, will be released on April 26.
It is available as a free download, along with an exclusive
non-album B-side, from www.thephoenixfoundation.co.nz
until March 17.
