The IT Industry Showcase provides an annual opportunity to
celebrate the achievements of our graduating students. In
their third year of study our Bachelor of Information
Technology students work in teams on industry projects.
The project is an opportunity to bring together the combined
skills of the group to demonstrate competence, creativity,
commitment and craftsmanship in solving a significant
business problem for a real client. Past projects have
included a water quality monitoring buoy, interactive museum
exhibits, 3-D rugby and management systems for a wide variety
of businesses.
Join us in celebrating the achievements of the 2009 cohort at
our IT industry showcase. You will experience a large scale
digital waterfall, learn to play the electric guitar with
Guitar Warriors, interact with virtual ants and view our city
in ways that will blow your mind. These are just a few
examples of the exciting projects currently underway.
