PANZ Otago is to host the "Purely Pastel" National Art Awards
and annual Convention at the OAS Art Station Gallery,
situated in the historic Dunedin Railway Station.
Opening night and the awards presentation will be Friday 26th
March at 7pm.
The exhibition will run daily 10am to 4pm until April 17th
2010.
This exhibition will be opened by Elizabeth Caldwell -
director of Dunedin Public Art Gallery.
The Convention consists of a 2-day master-class workshop with
Australia's master pastellist Lyn Diefenbach 25th and 26th
March. It then continues on the 27th and 28th March with the
AGM, demonstrations by artists, talks on various subjects,
trade displays, round table discussions on anything related
to pastel and pastel artists.
A dinner and bus trip around the Peninsula is also included.
