The Otago Community Hospice is taking a bus to
Christchurch for COROnation Street ON STAGE and has arranged
an amazing and EXCLUSIVE meeting with Coronations
Street's William Roache aka “Ken Barlow” for ticket holders
on the HOSBus.
William Roache was the only remaining member of the
original cast until Dennis Tanner (Philip Lowrie) returned on
12 May 2011, and is currently the longest-serving actor in
Coronation Street and in British and global soap
overall.
COROnation Street ON STAGE celebrates 50 years of the
internationally loved soap and is the hysterical new comedy
stage play by award-winning playwright and Coronation Street
scriptwriter Jonathan Harvey.
Directed by Fiona Buffini, COROnation Street ON STAGE
features over 55 characters, played by just six UK
actors!
Coronation Street legend WILLIAM ROACHE aka KEN BARLOW
will hilariously narrate this funny and brilliantly
affectionate tribute night at every
performance!!
The HOSBus leaves at 12pm Saturday 20 April and travels
to Christchurch for 8pm performance of COROnation Street ON
STAGE. Following the performance
exclusively to HOSBus participants there is a special
hour with “Ken” over refreshments.
Twin share accommodation at the Chateau on the Park with
breakfast Sunday before returning to Dunedin.
