A small group of Te Anau women have chosen to ramp up the
holistic health window and provide a day for Fiordland
residents and the people from the wider area to gain an
insight into the availability of health giving treatments and
practices.
The Te Anau Health and Well-being Expo is a "not to be missed
expo", if people have a passion for physical
health,complementary therapies and general well-being.
The Expo will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2012, at the
Real Journeys Fiordland Community Centre on Luxmore Drive in
Te Anau. The doors will open at 10am and close at 4pm.
There will be a variety of health professionals and
therapists present to promote and educate those attending the
expo. Many of the health professionals and therapists
attending on the day are from Southland. There will be three
very knowledgeable presenters, speaking on a variety of
topics throughout the day.
The knowledge and experience that will be under one roof on
the day, will enable people to experience "a therapy", or
just may change their outlook on life. The expo will be
catering for all age groups for both men and women.
There is a door charge of $5 for adults, and children under
16 years can enter free. Proceeds from the expo will be
donated to Fiordland Volunteer Area Committee - Assisting
with delivering ambulance services in Fiordland.
