New York, Milan, London ... Dunedin? Organisers say iD Dunedin Fashion Week is becoming more of an international affair, while maintaining its allegiance to Dunedin designers.

Dunedin audiences need good reason to bestow standing ovations.  But the remarkable headwear of British celebrity milliner, Stephen Jones, brought the crowd spontaneously to its feet in admiration and delight.

Models present designers' collections in the 2013 iD Fashion Show at Dunedin Railway Station on Friday and Saturday.

British milliner Stephen Jones showed 33 of his hats and headwear creations on the iD Dunedin Fashion Show runway, as this year's iD international guest.

The pieces included a hat made for Kylie Minogue comprising 20 large turkey feathers set in resin and gold plated, which concluded the collection and prompted standing ovations from the crowd.
