When buying new joinery, the thermal properties of the frame are very important to maintain a healthy room climate and to keep the energy bill low.

Eurotech WinDoors manufactures exterior joinery to strict European standards for thermal efficiency, security and quality. All joinery is made to size on high-tech CNC machinery at a Dunedin factory, with an almost unlimited variety of window and door options.

These range from French doors to large stacker doors for contemporary and traditional houses. Made using Siberian larch or European oak, the joinery is naturally durable without the need for chemical treatment. Timber is three-layer laminated and is 68mm thick to prevent warping and twisting and to make the frame energy efficient.

Eurotech uses quality tilt-and-turn hardware and handles which are made in Germany.

Eurotech WinDoors offers double glazing with the optimum thickness of 24mm (16mm cavity) and 32mm triple glazing. For larger houses, the low E & A argon double glazing can be upgraded to triple glazing at the same cost. Non-rotting rubber seals and a multipoint locking system ensure draught-free and secure windows and doors.

"In Dunedin we have many old villas and people would like to keep that look," says Sandra Habermann, who along with Christian Rampe, runs Eurotech WinDoors, with their product sold nationwide.

"There is no condensation, no rot, no draught and a home is a lot healthier."

If the budget is tight, the team at Eurotech WinDoors can quote design options that are more economical to manufacture.

Eurotech WinDoors windows are tested by an accredited test laboratory and comply with extra high-wind zone regarding strength, deflection, air infiltration and water penetration.

The product has drawn widespread praise from satisfied homeowners not only throughout Otago but also New Zealand.

"They say they can feel the improvement in their home," concludes Sandra.

Eurotech WinDoors provides a free window shopping advisor to make people aware of different features which are important.
