How would you describe your personal style?
Comfortable chic in simple layers with a splash of vintage.

Who is your style icon and why?
I just do my own thing. I'm not really driven by someone else's style.

What are the five top wardrobe staples you couldn't live without?
Staples are what we do best at Silkbody. Silk fabrics are comfortable in a range of temperatures and this is key to their can't-live-without factor. My picks are:
A warm slip for extending summer dresses to winter-wear.
A stretch dress that can be styled up or down.
A three-quarter sleeve scoop top.
Leggings and silk pants. All in black.

Who is your favourite fashion designer and why?
Consuelo Castiglioni, of Marni, is a master of colour, fabric and pattern. She mixes it all up, but in a wearable way.

What's your biggest fashion faux pas?
Thinking clogs went with everything when I was a teenager.

Fashion-wise, which decade do you wish you'd been born into and why?
The '50s. Feminine styles, beautiful prints and lots of colour.

What's your trademark accessory?
A belt. I'm a bit obsessed with them.

What will you be wearing this spring?
Vintage printed skirts with Silkbody tops and cardigans in colours to match.
