Ask a Chef reveals the secrets of those superb dishes you
ate in cafes and restaurants and wanted to try yourself.
Chicken:
1 smoked chicken breast, sliced
1 tsp five-spice
3 Tbsp liquid honey
Place honey and five-spice in a pan and simmer with sliced
chicken. Continue until caramelised, but be careful not to
burn it.
Salad:
a handful of lettuce leaves
5 macadamia nuts
a handful of crispy noodles
2 Tbsp of aioli avocado
Mix all the salad ingredients together and serve with chicken
while still warm. Serves one or two people, depending on the
size of the chicken breast.
