Ask a chef: Starfish's savoury scones

Starfish's savoury scones
Makes 12

Ingredients

5 cups white flour
1 Tbsp baking powder
3 cups grated cheese
2 Tbsp dried basil
salt and cracked pepper
1 cup cream
3 cups baby spinach
1 red onion, chopped
water to bind

 

Method  

Combine all the dry ingredients and the spinach and onion.

Add cream, and then enough water so you have a stiff dough.

Mould into balls the size of a tennis ball and place on a greased tray.

Bake for approximately 15 minutes at 200degC.
