discovered that some carbohydrates or ''Fodmaps'' are harder
to digest, particularly for sufferers of irritable bowel
Fodmap (fermentable oligo-, di- and monosaccharides and
polyols) is a short way to describe a type of carbohydrate
found in certain foods which can cause discomfort in people's
stomachs and can be a trigger for symptoms of IBS.
