• Whittaker's, the chocolate people, have published Whittaker's Passion for Chocolate, a book of chocolate recipes with an introduction about the four generations of Whittakers who have manufactured chocolate in the Wellington area, from the modest peanut slabs to the range of specialist and dark chocolate bars available today.

It also explains the process of inspecting and roasting the beans to making the cocoa chocolate. The recipes range from those of guest chefs, to trendy chocolate desserts and even some savoury dishes (dark chocolate in a mole sauce adds texture and flavour) to more modest and achievable, but equally delicious-looking recipes from chocolate lovers. A chocolate-lover's delight.
