Palmerston Garden Circle bus leaves 8.30am, returns about 5.30pm. Please bring your seat, morning tea, lunch and drinks. Raffles will be sold.

The 46th anniversary of Ecumenical Festival of Flowers in Praise, St Paul's Cathedral, noon-4pm on February 2 and 10am-4pm on February 3-5. Blessing February 3, 2pm. More than 40 displays and a plant stall. Admission $2 donation. Proceeds to the chair in neurosurgery.

Taieri Lions Club ''Gardens of the Taieri'' bus tour fundraiser for the Neurological Foundation, from 1pm. Tickets, $40, must be purchased from the Red Barn, Dunedin and Paper Plus and Downes Jewellers in Mosgiel. Full ticket price goes to neurosurgery campaign. Gardens include: Broxburn Park, Islington, Silverdale and Grandview Gardens, Maungatua.

The Brockville Gardening Club will meet at Dunedin Botanic Garden visitor centre at 1pm. Afternoon tea at Croque-o-dile. Raffles. All welcome.

Otago Rose Society, monthly meeting, St Peters Church hall, Hillside Rd, 7.45pm. Guest speaker: Barbara Wheeler, collections supervisor, Dunedin Botanic Garden ''Year of events celebrating Dunedin Botanic Garden's first 150 years''. Supper, raffles, sales table. All welcome.
