Palmerston Garden Circle meets at 1.30pm at Palmerston Community Centre. Guest speaker, sales table and raffles.

Tuesday, April 29
Waikouaiti Garden Club meeting, St John's Church hall, 7.30pm. New members welcome. Contact, Liz 465-8016.

Friday, May 2
HortTalk, Dunedin Botanic Garden Information Centre, near duck pond, noon. Speaker Tracey Frisby, horticulture student, Otago Polytechnic on ''Transient gardens for uprooted lives''.

Weekend, May 3 and 4
Dunedin Horticultural Society's Grand Summer Show in conjunction with South Island Chrysanthemum Show, Saturday 2pm to 5pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm, Forbury Park Raceway, Dunedin. Adults $5. Members and children free.

North Otago Horticultural Society Autumn Flower Show, Scottish Hall, Tyne St, Oamaru. Saturday 2-4pm, Sunday 10am-4pm. Cut flowers, floral art, pot plants, vegetables and other displays. Plant sales and raffles. Inquiries to Reg, (03) 439-5578.

Tuesday, May 6
Brockville Garden Club meets in the Community Church Hall, at 1.30pm. Speaker is Darlene Thomson from Keep Dunedin Beautiful. Afternoon tea, sales table and raffle.

Thursday, May 15
Blueskin Garden Club annual meeting, 6pm at Carey's Bay Hotel. Dress code is ''Blast From The Past''. We will have a two-course meal, drinks and a short meeting. All members are welcome and must reply to the club email by May 7.
