Heritage Roses Otago is hosting a midwinter pot-luck lunch for anyone interested, from noon until 4pm at the East Taieri School. Guest speaker: Fiona Hyland. What to bring: a small plate of food to share, gold coin donation towards costs, change for raffles, plant stall and named plants for sale.

Palmerston Garden Circle to meet at 1.30pm at the Palmerston Community Centre. Guest speaker, sales table and raffles.

Heritage Roses Otago full-day working bee at the Northern Cemetery from 9am. Helpers welcome throughout the day.

Brockville Garden Club meets in the Community Church Hall at 1.30pm. Speaker is Marianne Groothuis on camellias, types and care. Afternoon tea, sales table and raffle.
