Geoff and Mallory Anderson (nee Handcock)
Ages: 27 and 26
Occupations: Structural Engineer and Exercise Trainer/Postie
Region: Dunedin, Otago

When and where we met:
We lived on the same street growing up in Dunedin but attended different schools. Geoff asked for my cellphone number at the street party in 2005 and we started going out after that.

The proposal:
We went on our OE in 2012 and travelled around the UK and Europe in a campervan for 10 months. Geoff proposed when we were in Biarritz, France. We were having a picnic on the beach one evening and he got down on one knee with the ring he had secretly picked up earlier on the trip, during our time in Barcelona.

Where was the wedding?:
We got married in February 2014. My parents have a holiday house in Moeraki and we had spent many fun weekends/holidays up there during our nine years together, so we decided it would be a great place to get married. It was really nice to have everyone who attended the wedding staying up in Moeraki together for the whole weekend. We got married on the beach and the reception was held at the Moeraki community hall, which we decorated ourselves.

The dress:
I got my dress and veil from Je Taime in Dunedin. I had looked in Melbourne with Mum but I ended up getting one of the first ones I tried on at Je Taime.

The bridesmaids' dresses:
Were purchased off the rack from Forever New.

Makeup and hair:
Fusion Hair in Oamaru. Debbie and her team did an amazing job.

The flowers:
We had calla lilies for the bouquets and buttonholes, which were done by Susan, from Amaryllis for Flowers in Dunedin.

The caterers:
Spit Roast Affair from Timaru did a wonderful job of the food. We had so many great comments from the guests. The cake was made by the Dessert Room, who did a great job of re-creating the photo we had given them.

Photographer:
Kimberley Cheyne Photography. Kim and Liam did an amazing job of capturing our day and we love all the photos.

Highlight of the day:
The whole day was a highlight for both of us, celebrating our marriage with our family and friends. A highlight for me was walking down the "aisle" with my dad and seeing Geoff waiting there for me on the beach.
