Brent and Jasmine Fleury (maiden name Hamilton). Brent (30) underground fitter, Jasmine (32) mum to two beautiful children and a part-time retail sales assistant.
When and where did we meet?:
We met through mutual friends about 11 and a-half years ago.
The proposal:
We had just been on a family walk. When we got back Brent made me sit down on the couch in between the kids and he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife! It was perfect because it was just our wee family together.
Where was the wedding?:
Our wedding was at the gorgeous Orchard Gardens situated between Alex and Clyde.
Why did you choose the venue?:
We chose the venue for so many reasons: its beautiful gardens, and the old packing shed is done up so well. It looks amazing. Wendy and Dale do everything for you. You just walk in and walk out, and it was in Central Otago, which we love!
The Dress:
I got my dress in Australia form Love Bridal. I fell in love with it. It was the first one I tried on. I got the "gasp" from my mum and best friend when I came out, and after trying on others nothing was as nice as that one.
The bridesmaids dresses:
I got them online. There aren't many places in Dunedin to get bridesmaids' dresses in the colour I was wanting, coral. I just love that colour and they looked so good in the photos.
The Flowers:
Were from Flowers on Mornington and my mum did the flowers on the cake, the buttonholes and our daughter's head-piece, which looked super-cute on her.
The Caterers:
Wendy and Dale do all the catering with their team and it is so yummy!
Highlight of the day:
It's so hard to pick just one highlight of the day, but one would be walking up the long aisle to see Brent standing there waiting to become my husband.
Photographer:
Chris Garden is awesome. He was clicking away all day and you just didn't know he was taking photos of you. He took many beautiful photos and we are so happy with them. All we heard was good stuff about him.
