McAuliffe Jewellers is a family-owned business established in
1956 in King Edward St, South Dunedin. McAuliffe's is a
"traditional" jeweller which not only sells quality
jewellery, watches and clocks, but has trade-qualified staff
to carry out repairs on jewellery and all types of
timepieces, from electronic watches to antique grandfather
clocks. Jewellery repairs include restoration and remaking,
and manufacturing is also undertaken.

Owner Robert McAuliffe is a third-generation watchmaker. Good
quality New Zealand and imported jewellery is stocked
including Pastiche, Lovelinks and Ellani, and diamond rings
from New Zealand's premier manufacturers.
The wedding range is huge and includes plain styles in all
profiles, engraved patterns, two- or three-tone gold, and
diamond set. Rings can be made in 9ct, 18ct, yellow, white or
rose gold as well as palladium and platinum. Handmade one-off
rings are also manufactured.
Bridal jewellery for the wedding party is also catered for.
Pearls are traditional and still very popular and
precious-stone-set jewellery is stocked.
Men's jewellery is also popular, with cufflinks and tie
