The Dunedin Public Art Gallery offers a spectacular range of
venues for wedding ceremonies and receptions, all of which
may be booked as a suite or separately.

Donaghy's Foyer is a grand and dramatic venue featuring a
wide sweeping staircase (perfect for the bride's entrance),
warm wooden floors and the gallery's renowned two-storey
atrium rising to a glass roof.
Donaghy's Foyer can host up to 300 guests and is available to
hire from 5pm. The Otago Daily Times Gallery, positioned on
the top floor of the Gallery, is situated under the glass
ceiling and looks down into the Gallery's atrium area. The
Otago Daily Times Gallery features breathtaking views of the
tree-lined Octagon precinct and offers guests an elegant and
beautiful outlook.
This space is available for both daytime and evening events,
seven days a week. The Otago Daily Times Gallery can be used
as a stand-alone venue for up to 160 guests or may be
combined with the adjacent Conference Room for additional
catering, if required.
Exchange wedding vows in the natural light that floods
through the glass ceiling during the early evening then host
your reception in atmospheric low lighting as night falls.
Spaces can be made available for you to dress the venue in
your individual style the day before your event.
Wedding hire also includes the opportunity to use the Art
Gallery's elegant foyer for pre-ceremony or pre-dinner
drinks.
