The cathedral-like atrium with its glass and wood is the
dramatic centrepiece, where the sun pours in on glorious days

Designed by award-winning architect Tim Heath, the
ecosanctuary building lends itself to occasions of
celebration. Up to 80 guests can dine in the stunning atrium
and toast the bridal couple as the sun sets behind them on
the Silverpeaks. Dance under the stars and the moon or sit on
the magnificent deck and listen to the music of the night
from the forest.

Meet our event manager to discuss your wedding wishes and we
will help to make them come true. We can assist with
everything from catering to candlelight suppers, transport to
tissues. For smaller functions we can assist with our
in-house catering. Whether you require an intimate supper or
gourmet barbecue our flexible function staff are delighted to
help (maximum 30 guests).
Many of the café's signature dishes have proven very popular
with our smaller functions and events. For example, the Otago
& Fruits of the Forest platters with homemade bread. The
café prides itself on its ecological sustainability and is
committed to sourcing local organic vegetables and free-range
meats plus creatively incorporates edible native plants &
spices.
For larger functions our flexible function staff are more
than happy to assist you with our certified out-sourced
caterers. Relationships have been established with the best
caterers and service providers to ensure the smooth running
of your wedding. We understand timing and planning are
fundamental to any successful occasion and are cognisantt of
budgetary requirements.
Whether being photographed in our Cloud Forest (while your
guests sip chilled Champagne on the deck) or having your
photographs taken in our historic stone byre, we can assist
you with your wedding requirements. Transport to and from the
venue can be arranged and we are happy to assist with music,
flowers, photography, and for more intrepid guests we can
