A last-minute "hiccup" involving payment meant the carriages
of the historic Kingston Flyer, not the complete train with a
locomotive, were used in a Bollywood film shoot early
yesterday.
Locals and visitors are invited to a day of music and good
company on Sunday, January 31, when the Kingston Community
Association hosts its annual "Kingstock'' event to raise
funds for a new emergency services building.
The plight of the Kingston Flyer train has sent ripples as
far away as the UK, where railway enthusiasts have expressed
their concern and willingness to support the train.
