A three-month redevelopment of a Crawford St commercial
building is nearing completion. The building is expected to be
tenanted by mid-April.
Its owner, Carl Angus, said the time frame for the less than
$1 million redevelopment, undertaken by Arrow International,
was getting ''tight'' but was on target.
Furniture company McKenzie and Willis is moving to the
Crawford St site, with the opening scheduled for mid-April,
Mr Angus said.
Work on the 1350sq m ground floor was nearing completion,
while the top-floor car-parking area was having work done for
fire rating, he said. Earthquake-proofing was not part of the
work, as its 85% rating was well above the minimum 33%
required.
