There are five candidates standing in the election - Donna
Smit (Whakatane), Eric Ray (Morrinsville), Michael Spaans (Te
Aroha) and incumbent directors Ian Farrelly (Te Awamutu) and
Malcolm Bailey (Feilding).
Roadshow meetings will be held on Sunday, November 10, at the
Ascot Park Hotel in Invercargill at 7pm, and on the Monday at
the South Otago Town and Country Club in Balclutha at 10.30am
and the Brydone Hotel in Oamaru at 7pm.

This year's election was important as there were five
candidates vying for three seats on the board and it was sure
at least one new director would be elected.
Attending the roadshow would provide shareholders with a
greater understanding of each candidate's governance ability
and experience, Mr Kirkwood said.
Voting is now open and will close on November 25. The
successful candidates will take office at the close of
Fonterra's annual meeting which is being held at the
co-operative's Edendale site on November 27.
