Murray Taggart.
Mr Taggart has been on the board since 2009.
He was challenged by former Silver Fern Farms chief executive Keith Cooper and Temuka farmer Nick Ward in the ward C election.
Mr Taggart, who farms a 666ha irrigated sheep, beef and cropping property near Oxford, is also chairman of Alliance Group.
Waikato farmer Gray Baldwin was returned unopposed as a ward B director.
Last month, he confirmed his intention to stand for the board of Alliance Group in the director elections.
Ballance chairman David Peacocke said both Mr Taggart and Mr Baldwin had brought strong governance and farming experience to the co-operative.
