Dunedin-based Jennian Homes Otago has won three categories in the group's annual awards, including sharing the Jennian Homes Franchisee of the Year Award, 2015.

In conjunction with the Nelson Bays franchise owner, Jennian Otago's 50/50 owners Debbie Payne and Hayden Davies were best among the 30 franchise areas operated around the country.

The business also received the Best Presented Show Home award, for a four-bedroom single-storey home in Mosgiel, and one of their team members won the Rookie of the Year Award.

Ms Payne said: "We put in a lot of effort to ensure that this home was at our consistent high standard and are very pleased this has been recognised.''

The Mosgiel property also won a silver award in the GIB Show Home Awards category - southern region, in the Registered Master Builders House of the Year Awards.

The judges noted the consistency of Jennian Otago, having been runner-up franchisees of the year in 2013 and in the top three in 2014.

Mr Davies bought the franchise in 2010 and was joined by Ms Payne in 2011, with the company now employing six people and building about 30 homes annually.
