A police helicopter helping the search for a 40-year-old
Dunedin woman has been unable to find her.
The helicopter spent an hour searching the eastern side of
Dunedin this morning after Gayle Dianne Heath was last seen
in central Dunedin at 2pm yesterday.
Police could only guess where Ms Heath was until there was a
sighting, Senior Sergeant Chris McLellan said.
"As more information comes to light we will consider putting
out the chopper out again, but we really need some
sightings," Snr Sgt McLellan said.
Ms Heath is described as thin, fair-skinned and about 163cm
tall.
She was driving a gold 2005 Hyundai Sonata saloon, licence
plate CWJ292.
The car had a bike rack with a mountasin bike on the back.
Police asked anyone with information about Ms Heath to
contact them.
