Dunedin police are urging vigilance from members of the
public after three work vans were burgled and large
quantities of tools taken in South Dunedin and Mornington.
Sergeant Kevin Davidson said the burglaries happened on
Tuesday night.
Police were concerned a group of thieves was active in
Dunedin after two property burglaries in the past three
weeks, when tools were also taken.
He urged anyone noticing suspicious behaviour to contact
police immediately.
